Today, like what has been planned, I need to conduct a kick-off meeting with Eonmetall, this is a challenging case for me as the person in charge, Mr. Tan has a problem replying to our email. The meeting is scheduled at 10.00am, however the person in charge seemed like having a problem for his earphone connection, his cant hear our voice but we can hear his voice, due to this, I have contacted another person in charge to ask to have the Mr Tan’s contact number, I am able to get it and then I proceed to call him, however it is weird that he does not pick up my phone number, no choice I can only keep contact with the other person in charge to see what is going on with Mr Tan, he told me that it is Mr Tan’s behaviour in not accepting stranger phone and the problem he is having now he is not able to hear our voice in the Teams meeting, so he is suggesting us to use another meeting platform, it is my first time encountering this kind of problem, I then asking my senior what should I do, should I delay the meeting to another date or using other alternative meeting platform, then I decided to use Google meet as the platform, I emailed the meeting link to Mr Tan and inform the another person in charge to tell Mr Tan regarding the email. Then, luckily, Mr. Tan is able to join the meeting and I then proceed to present the Information Requet List and IT Environment Questionnaire. Mr. Tan is a polite guy and we were able to finish the meeting in a harmonious way. As usual, I then emailed Mr. Tan the updated Information Request List.
After that, I send out the COA template to Adient Automotive’s auditor for mapping purposes and within the same day, I was able to receive it back, I then asked Kar Enn what should I do about it. The last thing I did today is to settle Eonmetall’s CAATs document request list and its application test matters. Supposedly, I can solve it during the morning kick-off meeting, however, because of the absence of the finance person in charge, I have no choice but to settle it after the kick-off meeting, I contacted the finance person in charge and ask then whether the company system has the function of letting the responsible person approved for the purchase order based on the parameter, the person in charge then replied me that in the company their practice is to print out the purchase order manually and let the respective head of department to sign and approve it, so generally, to say, the company is not utilizing the system’s automated purchase order approval function, it is then of no requirement for us to conduct application test for the company.

-Know how to solve if the client is having connection problems for the kick-off meeting
-Know how to ask clients about the requirement of the application test

It is my first time having problems during the kick-off meeting, but it is a good experience as it will then shorten my response time whenever the same problem happens again in the future.
