Day 56 (11 Jan 2023)

In the morning, since I have a kick-off meeting with one of the Penang based company, so I spent some time reading and going through the previous year's documents like the audit working paper, management letter, and the evidence, then at the meeting time, I conducted the meeting, however, for this time since Kar Enn was in Pakistan, he is unable to join the meeting so I will be the only person to handle the meeting, luckily I am managed to do it. After that, I emailed the updated information request list to the client, and in return, the client connected me with two other finance staff for dealing with the CAAT documents. After that I called the person in charge of Khum Fatt Engineering group to explain to her the problem I am having which is the opening balance of the general ledger does not tally with the one in the trial balance, she said she will check it out tomorrow. Moreover, one more thing I want to ask her, I notice that the same other creditors, have two different account codes in the trial balance and general ledgers, client then replied that it is because she has started changing the account code and she will then provide a list me after that. Lastly, today Ili asked my help to prepare the evidence of YX Precious in a form that can be uploaded to the APT platform, it is to attach the PDF files into a word file, this is the first time I know that we actually attach a PDF file into a Word and she taught me the steps doing it.
