Today, I focus on the ITGC work for Accurus Scientific Ltd., the first thing I need to do is to categorize the documents provided by the client. The reason for doing it is it will allow me to prepare the audit working paper more effectively and save me time in finding the document I want. At the same time, I can roughly go through the documents and ensure it is the one I need, if I find there is any wrong with the document, I can then request the client to provide me again for the document, it will save the time in completing the audit task. Categorizing document sound like an easy task but it actually takes a long time, especially for this company, all the documents given is in Mandarin, so I need to convert them to English as all until now, all the terms I went through are in English so it will take some time for me to read through the documents and try to understand it.

It is my first time encountering documents that are written in Mandarin, so for this company’s ITGC task, I estimated I will need a longer time in completing it.
