Today, I walked into the office like normal and suddenly I received a message from my colleague, Ili, she asked me to help her to book the meeting room for her kick-off meeting. I asked Ili when and how to book for her, and she then told me to go to the main lobby and tell the receptionist that you are looking for a meeting at what specific time, she will then check the availability and if there is an empty room during that specific time, she will ask us to give our name and then that is all for the booking process. I helped Ili to book a room and then move back to my working desk.
The task I am going to do today is to help Ili to update the IT Environment questionnaire documents, as I know, the IT Environment questionnaire is one of the documents we need to have for the audit process besides the audit working paper. What I need to do is actually a simple job, as there is a little bit of difference comparing the IT Environment questionnaire’s format last year with the current year, so what I need to do is to copy the contents from the previous year's IT Environment questionnaire and paste it to current year’s IT Environment questionnaire, normally the questionnaire is the document we send to the client to fill up, however for a certain client that informed us if there are no changes comparing with the previous year, so we might going to help them to fill it up by directly using the contents from the previous year, so this is my task today. Even though the task sounds like an easy task, however, I still need to spend around one day to complete it, because there are seven companies I need to work on it, so it will take a long time. The table shows the companies I am assigned.
After that, before going back, I chit chat with my other colleague, Salsa, as I noticed that besides ITGC and CAATs, Salsa also doing other kind of jobs, I then asked her what are these tasks and she then replied that under our department, it is actually not limited to only ITGC and CAATs, our services are wide, it can be providing penetration test, giving web trust service and offer of advisory service for web or cybersecurity-related matters, she then showed me in which file I can access and at there I can have a look on the documentation like proposal and report for the projects of these services that she mentioned.

It was shocking for me to know that actually, we have such different kinds of IT services provided to clients, in order to be able to perform these tasks, we will need to get the required skills and certifications.
