After completing the sales three-way test yesterday, I continue the purchase three-way test today. Unlike the sale three-way, all six companies have provided us the three types of documents, so we will conduct the test all three ways and there is no need to do any two ways for it. Like how I did for the sales three-way test, I clean the raw data, ensure the fields are similar among all the six companies, append the six companies' files into one, link the purchase invoices, purchase order and goods received notes, put the linked files into BDO template. After that, I check the number of variances, whether is it acceptable and immaterial or not. Then Kar Enn taught me that for the variances before we submit for review, we need to double-check the cause of variances whether it is due to our own mistake or it is truly the mistake of the client.
Another thing that I did today is to join a kickoff meeting with a company namely Tambun Indah. It is similar to the kick-off meeting that I joined earlier, however, in this meeting, I learn about what is service level agreement, it is a statement or policy that states out estimated how long it will be used to settle the complaint raised or issue being reported. This service level agreement can be internally generated or externally. Internally generated men it is produced by the company itself for its own employee while external is the one that the supplier offers to the company. We need to ask clients whether they have this kind of agreement or not, be it internal or external.
Main things that have learned
