When talk about Kuala Lumpur or shortly know as KL, what will be the things come to your mind?
Not sure about others, however, for me, the things that pop up in my mind would be KLCC, shopping malls, condominium, LRT, high erectled building at everywhere and a classes of working adults wearing Apple Watch, using the latest Iphone and queuing for in the underground waiting for the LRT to reach. Guess what, after arriving at KL all the things pop up in my mind do really exist and there are also some scenes that I am not expected to be appeared, I will be sharing more for it later, but first, let me to roughly talk about the why I am being in KL, in last semester where people are starting to plan where they are going to intern, I have a plan that want to experience our internship in metropolitan city, the KL, the reason is I want to experience the working life in big cities, as the internship period are just six month, if after the completion of the internship and I think that I am not suitable to work in such metropolitan, I can then choose to find a job in other places or going back to my hometown, Ipoh.
Arriving at KL, the first place I reach is KL Sentral as I am using KTM to travel from Ipoh, so it will be the place I arrived, the last time I went to KL is backing to three or four years ago, what I can see is there is not much of different or changes in the place but my feeling is totally different, last time I came here is to travel, however now I am going to stay in this place for a longer period. Reaching my rent room, I then search a nearby mall for my lunch, I am shocked to see the food prices are much more highly, it cost almost like RM 15 or more for each meal, I then decided went to Texas Chicken as there is a refil for its soft drink. At the same time, I have decided that in order to save money, I have no choice but need to cook my own meal after that.
After staying at the city for a time, what I can experience is the foods at here are costly and the choices are not that more comparing with what we can have in Ipoh, other than foods, the lifestyle here has a very fast tempo, traffic jam is everywhere, it is extremely difficult to find a car park, I can not imagine that if I am bringing car, where can I park my car. Loving it or not, I will be spending hal year period in this flamingly big city and I am looking forward to explore the beautiful places and hotspot here.
